- Brantford: Brantford Jaycees Trailhead on Greenwich Street, just north of Mohawk Street, has parking for 20 cars and an information kiosk. A short extension trail leads to Mohawk Park where there are washrooms and a food stand during the summer (View a Google Map).
- Brantford: At the end of Beach Road, east of Locks Road (View a Google Map).
- Jerseyville: On Jerseyville Road, on the western edge of the village (View a Google Map).
- Dundas: Dundas Valley Conservation Area, 650 Governor's Road, Dundas. This area is operated by the Hamilton Conservation Authority and an admission fee may apply (View a Google Map).
Brantford to Hamilton Trail
The 32 kilometre trail runs from the east end of Brantford across rolling farmland to the west side of Hamilton. The Hamilton section follows the scenic Dundas Valley for 18 kilometres.
- The entire trail is surfaced with stone dust.
- The trail follows a section of the old Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo Railway (TH&B) route.
- The GRCA owns and maintains the section between County Rd. 18 in Brant County and Jerseyville.
- The Hamilton Conservation Authority owns and maintains the section between Jerseyville and Hamilton.
- The brochure, Explore the Hamilton-Brantford-Cambridge Trails (2MB PDF), includes a map and descriptions of scenic highlights and services along the trail.
- Hiking, biking and horseback riding all year
- Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter
- NOT permitted: motorized vehicles of any kind, including e-bikes.
- In Hamilton, the trail links with the City of Hamilton trail and bikeway network.
- In Hamilton, the trail connects with the Bruce Trail at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area.
- In Brantford, the trail links with City of Brantford Trails. Those trails connect, in turn, with the SC Johnson Trail from Brantford to Paris.
