Celebrate mom with Mother Nature on May 12

Spend time outside with Mother Nature for free at Rockwood Conservation Area on Sunday, May 12 for Mother’s Day.

After a late start to spring, the Grand River Conservation Authority is offering free day-use admission for all visitors to Rockwood Conservation Area on Mother’s Day.

For those visiting Rockwood for the first time, the park offers spectacular views of towering limestone cliffs, glacial potholes, hiking trails, and caves for the truly adventurous visitors. While camping and boat rentals are not free on Sunday, mini-putt is being provided free of charge thanks to a local sponsor.

The park, located at 161 Fall Street in Rockwood, is open for free access between 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. For more details, visit www.grandriver.ca/parks.
