Conservation lands
In addition to our conservation areas, there are a number of conservation lands set aside for passive uses such as hiking, bird watching, photography, and similar activities.
In many cases, these lands offer habitat to a wide range of bird, plant and animal species.
These lands have no entrance fees and no staff members are on site. Services are limited and may include only a parking lot, garbage containers and information signs.
These areas are supported, in part, through donations to the Grand River Conservation Foundation.
